In the first week, I have successfully completed five out of the six adverts for my local newspaper. It has been challenging to create the adverts, as mentioned in the previous blog entry, my Photoshop skills need improving, which has now been done successfully.
When creating the adverts, I researched the sort of adverts that would be used in a local newspaper, similar to the one I am creating. I also looked at the style and quality of these adverts, and found that they were not great; the majority of the adverts were from small, local companies (mainly conservatory and window companies), consequently, the adverts are of a tacky, and poor quality. I have purposely designed my adverts to look this way, to make the newspaper seem genuine.
I am currently on target with my schedule.
